De-skinned blazer? Paint question
Here is a pic of my blazer getting ready for a new pass side skin. What would you recommend doing to the inner part while it is apart? Give me all of your thoughts. I'm taking lots of pics as I go for reference if anyone is interested.
Thanks, Matthew

thanks for the info GeeEmm. I've got the local Chevy dealership bodyman helping so maybe it will work. My blazer is pretty much "rust-free" just has a lots of dent repair on it that needs correcting.

Matt, I would remove all the loose rust, dirt etc. Then prep with POR15----sprey prep which will chemically clean and prep the metal for the paint. Then I would brush on the POR15 liberally. It will stop existing rust from spreading, prevent more rust from forming and help quieting the sound from resonating within the quarter panels. Just take you time and the final job will come out great.
