Twin Stick rail mods
I'm going to twin stick my 205. I plan to fab the shifter and linkage myself. I know I need to modify (lengthen?) the indexing "slots" on the shift rails. Has anyone done this or have instructions on how to do it? I don't want send them to ORD and pay $85 for a simple mod.
I will be using a mill, not the angle grinder |

Re: Twin Stick rail mods
I think ORD has a guide on how and where to grind the shifter rods. Check their site. I used to have a template for it but not sure where it got put.

Re: Twin Stick rail mods
It is. Having access to a mill makes it even easier.

Re: Twin Stick rail mods
I've done dozens of them, you don't even have to touch the lower rail. The purpose of the twin stick is to be able to do a front drive (dig) only. So with that, all you have to do is modify the 2wd or top rail to neutralize while in 4wd either high or low. This way also prevents from putting the rear into low and front into high or visa/versa
