66 burban tranny swap
wanting to change up the manual 3 speed for turbo 400. Any one done this change. any one have any advice. going to buy the cross member from brothers truck parts. please let me know if there are any suggestions.

You don't have to use an aftermarket trans crossmember. One from a '63-'87 pickup or suburban will work just fine.
Does the TH400 have a bolt on fixed yoke or a slip yoke? Is your truck a short or long bed? Are you going with a floor shifter, or a column shift?

its a suburban and its a slip yoke and it will be a floor shifter.
