? on adapting '70 brake lines to 71 master

Ok, about have my disc convo knocked out. I would like to know if anyone has adapted the hard lines from a '70 1/2 ton to a 71-72 Master cyl.(Actually prop valve). What size adapters and where to get em? Someone has to have done it....help.... Thats the way I perfer to go but am also considereing a new brake line kit, say for a '71. If I do that will I run into probs at tees?
I am using as much '71 items as possible(spindles, calipers, MC/booster)

Any input would be great as this is the last phase

I just did the exact same thing three weeks ago. I looked everywhere for the adapters with no luck. Finally, I found a real parts strore and pleaded my case to the parts guy. He pulled out a little box of adapters and rummaged through till he found the 2 I needed. It cost 4 bucks. Just take your prop valve with you to the store. One adapter needs to be for a bigger line in the prop valve and the other for a smaller line into the valve. That is, one adapter increases size and the other decreases size.

The secret is a parts store with stools for you to sit on, and a worn spot on the counter. Those are signs you've found the right type of place.

If you are absolutely stumped, I can get you a pic of mine tomorrow.

the best way would be to cut the flares off your old lines, slide your old nuts off and replace them with the right size then with a flare tool put a new flare on the end of the lines. Auto Zone may have a flare tool they will let you use for free, or get one at sears and take it back when your done.
