Re: Anyone ?

Are you thinking about changing the springs up front? Or are you going to change the spindle to 1/2 ton? what will you do with the bolt pattern mix them, 6 bolts front and 8 bolts rear? What will you do for a spare, carry 1 of each? Stacy Davids copperhead had a 14 bolt with a 1/2 ton pattern on them to handle the power of his drive train, that could e an option.

Re: Anyone ?

i was thinkin about 5 lug fronts with a 8 lug rear but have 1 ton front and rear springs ,or buying 10 lug adapters and run a Super single commercial truck tire in rear and a 10 lug peterbilt rim on the front with the 1 ton springs ( i know if i go this route ill have to cut the bed up and mod the inner wells on the front not sure which route were going yet. See im a Ranch hand and i need a Heavy duty hauler

Re: Anyone ?

Things get complicated when you run 2 different bolt patterns, first you need 2 different spares. if you need a hauler and you want it on the cheep go with the 1 ton springs. if you want to be different go with the 10 bolt, for front inner fenders look into slosh tubz and see if they might work.
