Was A/C an option for all years from 67-72

I have seen more 71 & 72's with A/C more than 67-70 trucks. I am a bit new to these years. In fact I am not sure that I have seen any 67 or 68's with air yet. Surely they had it though.

Yes, it was an option for all years. Not common in the '67 & '68 though. I just sold a '67 A/C dash. They are a one year only item because of the small ignition switch hole & bezel.

Thanks. That is what I was wondering. I am thinking of building a one ton dually 4x4 and would like to have an A/C cab. I like all the front ends on all the years but for some reason I like the 67-68 front ends on one tons better. I guess I could still do that if I end up with a 69-72 cab.

My first truck was a 67 and it had factory AC, power assit steering and over drive with a nice 283 engine. Everything worked great on that truck until the fire consumed it one morning!

Get out and drive the truck this summer and have some fun!
It sucks not being able to hear!

LWB trucks rule, if you don't think so measure your SWB!
After talking to tech support at Air Lift I have found out that the kit I need is 60811. Per the measurements I gave them. Ride height of truck inside spring and inside diameter of springs.

you should be able to get a complete a/c unit that will fit your truck and look almost like a factory unit..
