Was almost raod legal
So I finally got my 71 K20 ready for inspection, she passed! So I headed down to the DMV to registar it to get my plates. The po signed the title in the wrong spot then signed it again in the right spot...GREAT.... so I get the paper for him to sign, and call him, and call, and call, and call. Finally i get a text back. its his friend and the guy is in jail not knowing when he is going to get out. So I call the DMV HQ in Jefferson City to find out what I need to do if I can get him to sign the paper. gonna cost like $200.00 and take up to three months to get the paper work so I can get plates. what a awsome day.

Re: Was almost raod legal
try calling the sheriff of that county and advise the sheriff whats going on, and see if he will let you talk to the guy, or he could talk to the guy and see if the guy will sign the paper you need to get it right so you can get your tags..that is where i would start.

Re: Was almost raod legal
Which jail is he in? Pulaski or Phelps or somewhere else? Generally, on something like this the jail staff will work with you and let him sign the papers. If he is in jail in Rolla I can help.

This is when I love living in Idaho. No inspections, DMV usually fast and very understanding, I feel for you all having to face issues like that. (Not saying we are better, just that we are lucky.)

Re: Was almost raod legal
Go to the jail and get with the supervisor, explain the issue, show him the paperwork and get the paper signed by the guy. He is in jail, not dead or on the moon.
