I am working two currently myself both 68 truck halves and all the fabrication is the easy part for me, but I am having a crazy time with the wiring getting the original factory light set up to work properly. Cool thread!!!

I don't remember the color code offhand but you need 4 wires.
1.Left turn signal
2.Right turn signal
3.Taillights tag light goes on this circuit.
4.ground

Your brake lights work thru the turn signal switch,so the brake lights work when the turns do.You may need a heavy duty flasher for the turn signals since they may cycle really fast with the standard one.

Very true PD. #4. You must have a solid ground connection. Grounding through the hitch will not do.
