Shackle Flip?
Someone told me that I could do a shackle flip on my 72 Jimmy to raise the rear end a little. It is saggs when I have the top on.I looked at the shackles and don't see how to "flip" them. Has anyone done this? Can it be done. What are the ramifications? How much lift will I get? I am thinking of using add-a-leafs to try for 2" of lift. Which one would be better. I already have 2" cast iron blocks.
Thanks, LT |

You can visit www.offroaddesign.com This web site has alot of information on shackle flips. It can be done. I also believe YukonJack has a shackle flip on his truck. His web site talks about he did. I hope this helps.

Echobit.com
has a bolt on setup, hes redoing his web sight so there not up yet... Echobit will net you around 5" to 5-1/2" lift...and just bolt on... ORD will net you around 4" lift...but you have to drop your fuel tank to install it
