Drop-In Bed Liner
Seems nobody makes a drop-in bed liner for our pickups. Will one made for another model or make fit? Anybody have one in their pickup? I'm only interested in the under-the-rail version and I'm not interested in the spray-on liner.

Don't know if it's true but someone told me that a 73-87 Chevy bedliner would fit.
I'm gunna have to find one so that I can test this theory.

What I've heard is that the 73-87 ones are 1" too short, but I don't know if it's too short in front of the wheel wells or in back of the wheel wells. In back whould be ok, but in the front probably wouldn't work.

i've got one i pulled out of my '67 swb, it sat under the bed rails. it was a tight fit..and it had been cut..so i imagine it was for a later model.

I've heard a late model Dodge bedliner will fit. Can anyone confirm the details?

73-87 bedliners fit pretty good I used a pendaliner brand they seem to look & fit best. If you have a truck topper store near you they usally sell bedliners & you could throw it in your bed to test fit it before buying. Tom

I have a 73-87 tuffliner in mine. Fits fairly good, under rail type.

I kept the drivetrain. Body/bad and chassis are gone. 1981 K30, 350/465/205 dana 60 and dually 14 bolt. Has a G80, and a flat bed. Going to replace the flat bed. 1985 K20, 350/400/208 10 bolt and SF 14 bolt. I wonder where I can find some 1 tons. Hmmmmm

out of curiousity, why aren't you interested in the spray-in? They seem like the only way to go to me.

Tynee, I want the extra protection the drop-in provides, especially for the front panel and the tailgate. Spray-ons give good scratch protection, but not so good against dents. But, probably the main reason is I just don't like the look of spray-on.
