Cruise control button???
Wanting to know if this is a cruise control switch or not the truck is out of state from me this is the only pic I have of it

Yes it looks to be one from the picture. Sorry I didn't answer you the other night but didn't understand what you were wanting. I thought you posted the picture just to show me the cruise lever!

I'm not a 100% sure but pretty sure these trucks only had cruise they didn't have the resume and coast stuff like the later models. So the button in the end of the lever would be all you had. Just push it in when you were at the speed you wanted that was it.

I believe you are right. If I would have noticed it when I drove it I would have tried it. Excited to see if it even works I'm a quadriplegic so this will bring great relief to holding my hand controls for long distances

That looks like maybe an add on cruise setup, the 72's I've seen with cruise had the cruisemaster button down below the gauge bezel
