Anybody using a truck cover inside their garage?
In the warmer weather I find the bug droppings are finding a resting spot on my paint.
I was wondering if some are using truck covers to help with this problem and if so which covers are liked the most.

I know a guy that does, not for bug dropping but for over all protection from bumps and bangs.

I have a California car cover that was made for my suburban and it fits perfectly.

UV and water resistant, perfect for preventing dust build up, the occasional door graze, and keeps my housemates curious friends away. Of ebay for a little Suv, I think it was $24

I use a Truck cover from an 1988 Chev truck a buddy gave me to cover my 63 all these years. It's made with 3M breathable fabric. It's drying up now and easy to tear. Leaves a black dust residue that's easily washed off. I keep the windows slightly open as to have some circulation inside the cab without critters climbing in. The idea of something eating my seat haunts me. I worked in a food plant and the standards were, 1/4" opening a mouse can crawl through and a rat requires only 1/2".

I bought one from California Car Cover back in 1998 when I painted my truck black lacquer. I believe it is the "Dustop" version, designed for indoor use. All I can offer is it fits perfectly, doesn't scratch the finish and still looks like new, although it has probably spent as much time in the bag as it has on the truck. While the fit is very nice they aren't cheap. For outdoor use a different material selection would be preferred.
