AD Bumpers
Hello all,
I'm wondering what kind of bumpers to use on my truck. I saw someone on this forum use 49 Packard bumpers. I was wondering if anyone could post pictures of their bumpers, and list what they came off of. Thanks a lot |

Re: AD Bumpers
What's wrong with the stock AD truck bumpers/ About the only thing I'd change to if I could find a pair would be the 49 Plymouth ribbed ones. Most of the others just end up looking like they were hung on the trucks without much thought being put into the process.
The Briz ribbed aluminum bumpers are ok but not my thing.

Re: AD Bumpers
Yeah, I had the plymouth bumpers in mind. I like the ribbed bumpers, and I was just wondering if anyone found another set that looked good.

Re: AD Bumpers
While we are on the topic, does anyone know: are the 47-53 rear bumpers the same as the 54 bumper, with the exception of the license plate knockout? Hard to tell from the pictures if they are the same shape or not.

Re: AD Bumpers
The front bumpers are identical.
The rear bumper for 54-55 have that notch for the license plate. But the brackets are identical so you can switch them to whatever you like. |
