who can tell me, factory cab insulation
I came ascross this at a local scrap yard, can anyone tell me if it is factory? it is in a 1963 and I think I have seen this before. It appears to be factory by the shaping and contour fitting the cab.

I can't tell you if that is factory, but I found that the Custom Comfort RPO added insulation. Not sure the locations, though.

This is from lilred66's collection. Dated Nov 1 1965, therefore it is from a 1966 Chevrolet Truck Data Book. Seems to read they dropped behind the gas tank in 66.

That's what I was thinking. I didn't see any signs of that padding on my '66. No left over glue residue or anything like that that would point to the padding being there at some point. It did have the thick under dash padding and other Custom Comfort options.
