after market bed parts

I am planning on useing after market bed parts such as bed sides, tailgate and front panel with wood floor to build my bed.I was wondering if any one has done this or used any of these parts if so how was the fit and quality?

Im in tge same boat only not sure if id be better off getting a whole bed or just one bedside and a tailgate and bed floor interested to see what ppl say

I have used the bedsides, and lettered tailgate. They were all very nice.

I built a complete aftermarket bed for my SWB 67. While everything took a little bit of working to get to fit right I was overall impressed with everything except the inner fender wells.
