My youngest son and I picked up a 69 Chevy C-10 on 1/7/22, this is my second 69, it was 10 years ago that I had my other one. So I’m back!!!

Lol. Thanks.

It probably took me about 8 hours of shining, masking, painting, and installing. Oh, it took me about an hour to remove it from the truck at the junk yard, and another hour to remove the old one from my truck. So, I guess 10 hours in all. When you figure a new grille with the chevrolet script and insert, along with all the brackets and screws, and extra shipping charges is probably a good $1,300-$1,500, and that I paid $37, I guess you can say I made about $150 per hour for my work lol. Not too shabby

One of my best finds ever was a grille with a heavy steel guard in front of it welded to the bumper. The grille was so dirty I thought it had been painted but it turned out it was chrome and not one dent. I bought the whole truck for $50, used the front cap and parted the rest.
