Talking V-6 Clutch Cover

I have a clutch cover off of a GMC V-6 bell housing and it is much larger than the trucks that I have seen with standard transmissions. My question; is it the V-6 or did they make larger covers for different bell housings?

It is a 68 305 V-6, but I am not sure of the size of the truck that the engine came out of. The transmission is a SM 465.

Any thoughts?

Jim,
I run a 305 V6 in my truck. Not sure about your question, but here is where I go for any V6 info http://autos.groups.yahoo.com/group/6066_GMC_Truck/
