Since he's using a th350, it actually doesn't matter what pulse the VSS is set to. Am I wrong? Cuz the trans is not electronic, he doesn't need to specify gears or tire size for his PCM either. Just disable the trans codes altogether.

Contrary to popular belief, you really do need a VSS for the engine to run right. It will run with out it, but not as well as it should, you can get stalling problems especially when coming to a stop quickly.

Anyway, here are the pics of the power brake fitting.

I know you need a VSS, I was saying it doesn't matter if it's, for example, 4000 pulse VSS or 8000 pulse VSS, since its a non electronic trans. It doesn't matter where the speed sensor is located or the number of pulses, just so PCM knows vehicle is in motion. Sorry i wasn't very clear on my statement above.
