Removing and Replacing Doors
I need to remove my doors so that I can drill holes for a power window install.
Is there any tricks or anything that I should know about the reinstallation process? I'm a carpenter and have installed a thousand doors but I never touched one on a truck before. Thanks for the help guys. |

Re: Removing and Replacing Doors
If you are looking to do something as far a re aligning the doors oncethe holes are drilled, take an 1/8 drill bit and drill through the hinge and jamb. Thay way when you reset the doors. all you need to do is to put a bit in the hole and tighten the bolts.

Plus there is a bolt that goes under/through the dash out the sides to help hold the hinges onto the cab....can be fun trying to get to it sometimes.
