Thank you for the nice words. The plan for tomorrow was to try to make the arm rests. But first I need to replace the radiator in my wife vehicle. The weather around chicago land is going to get cold for a few days so I need to get the radiator changed. I'm going to try to use some 1 1/2 x 1 1/2 steel angle for the mount then build around that with wood, fleece and fiberglass. I will post some pics if I get it figured out.

Have a great weekend.

Re: 1965 C-10 LS build

Man I just went back and reviewed all your pages!
I have to admit, I have stolen a couple of your photos for my "Good Ideas" folder !!
I like your guage set up, and will probably do mine much the same way.
And I am totally stealing the bumper flip !!

Time to toss us a new bone, like how your door panels turned out??

LOL just prodding you man, your build is looking good, and thanks for checking out my build, you help keep me motivated !!!

I got some more work done on the door panels. Built the arm rests, used some pieces of 1 x 3, 1 1/2 doll rod, 1/8" hard board. Wrapped then in fleece and put a coat of fiberglass resin on them. Mounted one of them on the door panel. Drill some holes so they can be mounted to the door so I don't pull the arm rest off. Still need to cut in a pull Handel and cut the hole for the power window switch but e everything his working out so far.

Also fiberglassed in the clips to mount the door panel to the door. Go to try to get some foam on the arm rest and the door and cover them with some black leather type material.

Have a great night.
