'77 stepside bed on an '82?

I know fenders are different regarding fill cap placement but how much work am I looking at to swap beds? Will the '77 tank bolt up to my frame? Can I possibly use my "82 tank? Are the fill necks the same size? Any info would be great

Yes the tank will bolt to your frame. You will need to order a new filler hose that matches the year of the bed.

Your tanks should work. Just need filler hose assembly to match the fenders. 77 had a gas cap 82 got a gas door.
