I have a 70 custom camper C20. Do all the trucks have the chrome trim piece in the windshield? If not how do you tell if the truck is supposed to have one or not?

Not all trucks came with this trim. Only on deluxe trucks. One way to tell, is the rubber on the windshield. If it's just plain with no channel for the trim, then no trim came with it. Also, I think if your rear window has a trim piece, then the front came with it too.

The windshield has been replaced at least once before and it doesn't have a trim piece in the front. But it is also leaking that's why I need to replace it. Can you tell with the back window in place if it has the trim?

Yes, you can see if your back window has a chrome trim around the rubber. If it does, then your front windshield shoul've came with it from the factory also. Being a C20 though, it most likely did not come with the trim on it. These were found mostly on CST model trucks. Let me know if you need more info.

Ok so I should be good with just getting a rubber gasket to try and swap them out?

So you don't have the trim on back or front? If not, then yes, just get the standard gasket for your truck.
