Grind, air chisel, and drill the rivets out for the cleanest removal. I assume that you are going to a V8 and auto? If so, you will need to pick up an auto cross member. The parts board is a good place to look. If your starter is a 3 bolt that bolts to the bell housing, you will need to get a two bolt block mount starter. You will need the V8 to have a flexplate correct for the tranny you are putting in and either a separate transmission cooler or a radiator that has a built in trans cooler. Remember to take the pilot bushing out of the rear end of the crank before installing the auto. An auto steering column change over (again usually available through the parts board) will provide your gear selector and your neutral safety switch.

You will also need the TV cable bracket for the intake. Usually the TV cable is left on/comes with the transmission. Adjustment of that cable is absolutely critical to the transmission's longevity. Bow Tie Overdrives has lots of info on it on their site.
