Re: who has DRUM brakes with a DUAL master cyl?

I pulled the trigger and am using the $50 bracket kit shipped from ghostrider aka Steve or reids52@aol.com. He has a few C10 master brackets already made up and would have had to make one for the Corvette cylinder. I am using a NAPA 1" bore drum/drum master for a 1970 C10 2 wheel drive part number NMC M1880 here:

I chose that one for a couple reasons. Readilly available locally unlike the GM A/C Delco one, its NEW not cheap rebuilt and it has a single wire snap cap instead of dual wire. I thought messing with 1 wire cap under the floor board would be less hassle than a 2 wire set up.

Once I get the bracket, some hardware, a dedicated rear line and cut down a 3/8 rod to fit, I will start taking some pics and detail the swap in case anyone wants to follow along.

Again, I am running drum /drum and using a master cyl for drum/drum or disc/disc so it will work for my application. For those running front disc, there are other choices out there or you can install a manual adjustable valve to dial down the front pressure and use this same cylinder. For those running drum/drum or disc/disc and getting a disc/drum cylinder you MUST remove the restricor in the forward port to equalize pressure for your drum/drum or disc/disc system.
