It should be a 700r4. I need one out of a 4wd. Don't care if it's bad or not. If you've still got it I'd be interested. Just need to verify ehat it is exactly. Id take trans and transfer case if they are still together. What drivetrain are you going to run?

Looks like a turbo 350. Never seen one with that adapter though. Must have been something they had to do to run that 208 transfer case with those. I sure thought that blazer would have had a 700r4. Thanks for the pics.

it was installed to make it the same length as a 700r4 I'd bet.
I have my 88 setup the same way, spacer to a th350 and np241 t-case, same lengtth as the 700r4 it came with. of course it could be just so they didn't have to cut the tailshaft down too.
