Tach wiring question
Will an original tach work with a HEI distributor with no other wiring modificatons other then changing the connector and pluging into the tach connector on the distributor? Im just wondering because Ive seen "HEI Ign only" or "NON HEI" on some GM repop tachs.

Simple...Yes. The tach wire that went to the old coil just use it for the HEI tach terminal.
