Re: wtb carier bearing bracket.
mine bolted to the bed side of the cross member...i saw another one in a junk yard the other day but its the kind of yard where only there guys pull parts for ya...spendy. if anyone else has pics that would be cool. im sure this style might work but i think the driveline lenths would be different.

Re: wtb carier bearing bracket.
This one is probably not correct because it is off of a 68 coil spring truck but maybe it will show you something. It would use the carrier bearing like the one with 2 bolts in a line posted buy ROYO. TTT for you anyway. Good luck and happy searching.

Re: wtb carier bearing bracket.
Does it attach to the frame crossmember with 2 bolts or 4 bolts. I have both $25 for 2 bolt and $35 for 4 bolt plus shipping. LMK, I can send pics. Thanks, Dan

Re: wtb carier bearing bracket.
The 2 hole is the black one and will need to use a bolt and nut to attach, as the threaded holes were partially drilled out. A grade 8 bolt and nut will be better than factory. the 4 hole has the old bolts in it. LMK

Re: wtb carier bearing bracket.
Here a original 2 bolt bearing carrier from 70 C20 with newer bearing, currently being used on a 68 C10 SWB.

Re: wtb carier bearing bracket.
Hi,
I want to purchase the 2 brackets, but want to make sure we are talking about the same parts. I tried to attach a picture of exactly what I need but could not?? I am somewhat new to the site.... In your picture it is the 2 piece driveshaft on the right. The 2 triangle shaped brackets are bolted together by 3 bolts with the carrier bearing and rubber bushing sandwiched inside. These 2 support brackets bolt to a bracket on the center frame support, different than the ones in the pictures. I have the attaching bracket and one of the two triangle shaped brackets that the driveshaft goes through and holds the bearing. I need the 2 triangle shaped brackets. Thanks, Dave |
