Facelift conversion?

I'm looking at getting around an 04-06'ish truck for a daily driver. I dont like the looks of the chevy in this year range, but do the GMC. I was wondering how difficult it is to do a facelift?

Also, is the core support of these years part of the cab, or has gm kept it a separate part if in case I find a slightly wrecked one.

Re: Facelift conversion?

Thanks. So it is mostly strictly visual parts that are different and doing a swap would be a simple bolt process.

Why not get a 04-06ish GMC in the first place?

Re: Facelift conversion?

Finding one is difficult in my area with the options I am looking for.

On some of these, I am noticing a spacer between the grill and bumper. What is that for, or what option requires that?
