Re: craiglist

I have seen more and more projects and trucks for sale lately. They are out there. Just keep your eyes open on craigslist or look in your local neighborhoods. You can find a pretty decent original stepside for about that price and also there are alot more short fleetsides going for cheap too.

Re: craiglist

I tried to sell a good running 70 Longhorn in Phoenix a while back. I was asking 3000 for a good running truck with an OK interior. It had new tires and a bunch of extras....Only one call and he wanted it for $1000...

For sale: 1970 Chevy Longhorn 3/4 ton Pickup.

Straight body, no dents. Truck has an 8.5' wood bed and factory toolbox in the side of the bed. NEW battery, and waterpump. NEW tires, front end parts, front springs, and alignment. There are many not installed NEW parts that go with it including OEM grill, OEM chrome, weatherstrip, AC piping, receiver dryer. There are also NEW interior parts including dash and arm rests. The NEW parts list goes on. Fuel tank has been flushed and NEW sender installed. Engine is a good running 67 Olds 425 (+.030)FORGED bottom end. It has a strong NEWLY built 700R4 behind it and 4.11 HD rear end. Truck runs on premium gas but gets 15+ miles to gallon with normal driving. The reason I am selling this project is it doesn't fit in my garage.

I'M glad it's still mine and no longer for sale!!

I had one guy drive by and offer me $800 for it.

Did you throw rocks at him as you were chasing him out of your yard? I hope so...
