It will. I'm a Rhino Tech and yes it will reduce road noise and insulate the cab. I plan to shoot the floor and the back of the cab wall with it as well. Depending on which machine they use is how you should base the amount of coats on. We use the Graco machine which puts it out at around 2200 psi and heated to about 150 degrees. On a normal bed I shoot five coats on the floor with three on the sides.

If you really want it insulated, put it on then lay Dynamat on top.

I agree, Rhino and similar coatings do a great job of acting as a vibration limiter and insulating. I used some light bed coatings on the underside of my truck when doing floor patches, to seal the panels and replace the garbage rubber coating that was on there before. With bedliner UNDER the truck, and a combination of peel n stick, dynamat, and carpet-pad/insulator; my noise levels have reduced by over half, vibrations are reduced and you can actually drive it with a hangover.

i have had some really good luck with Raptor liner which I purchase from TP TOOLS HERE. I'm not sure about the insulation qualities. You could prolly look that up on the website but for 121 delivered to my door, I get a spray gun, 4 bottles of liner and one of hardner. I set my compressor to about 55 psi and go at it. I have used it on bare metal which i have primed as well as painted parts which I just cleaned and scuffed.

So far I have done the firewall (engine side), inner fenders, radiator support and several brackets for my wife's 57 pickup. I can post some pictures of the results when I get home tonight if you like.

in a recent truck magazine I saw some roll on bed liner, I don't have spray capabilities right now , would the roll on do the trick as well? I am thinking of using the bedliner solution in place of a floormat which I can't find, this is for a winter rig, so I kind of like the water proof/sound deadening/ insulation angle...

It shoud, though I will admit I've had a little bit tougher luck with it. Prep is KEY as always. The roll on stuff can be a little annoying if you really want an even texture, or if you are doing it where I was (on the underside, truck only on jacks).
