wild idea. digital ac/heat controls

Anybody seen one?
I started doing some research last night. It wont be easy to convert a stock setup. Lots of actuators would be needed. I can do the electronic side but figureing out how to mount them and making brackets etc is beyond me.

I looked at the aftermarket systems but didnt see one with digital controls either.
I guess theres always ripping the whole setup out of another late model car but my research says alot of these systems are tied into the main computer.

Re: wild idea. digital ac/heat controls

Not something i would want but Im sure people have done it. I know a guy where I live that has a 57 chevy roadster. Its like a $250,000 car, but hes spent thousands and thousands of $ putting in some new dash from like a 2003 corvette or something. Amazing integration and almost looks like it grew there, but just looks so out of place with the old body style.

yea it doesnt really "match" I guess. Im building an electronic gauge cluster and thought since I have a PIC in the truck already I should go crazy.

the more i look at it though the more it needs to go in a 250k car lol...
