1966 C-10 shoulder belts

Does anyone out there have a picture of a real set of 1966 C-10 shoulder belts or know the lengths of the belts? Do they differ from the regular lap belts in size or shape?

I am thinking of installing some if I can put a set together, but I need to know if I need to find the real shoulder belts or if I could use another seat of lap belts as shoulder belts.

any info would be helpful.

Something like this may be an alternative.

That seat/belt setup would be great for a modified look, but I am going for an original appearing setup with the original seat.

Thanks

In 66 some of our trucks did come with factory seat/ shoulder belts. So it would look original.

Original is nice, but safety is a little "nicer". The '66 compromise might be the way to go....

Re: 1966 C-10 shoulder belts

IMO that craigslist seat would look out of place in a '66 truck.

You can get 3 point seat belt setups at seatbeltplanet.com that are meet current safety standards and also look the part.

I've had these ones for about 3 years and they look new still.

https://www.seatbeltplanet.com/seatb...cts/25/view/63

you'll want the 140 length

Re: 1966 C-10 shoulder belts

Thanks for the comments but I am definitely looking for the stock setup for my truck. My 1966 cab already has the factory tapped reinforced bolt holes for the shoulder straps to be attached.

My original question is what did the original belts look like? Does anyone have a picture and the lengths of the seat belts?
