theres alots information about TBI engine conversion but I would like information about swapping TBI engine into my 1964 GMC truck. I have a complete 1988 surburban that I can use. I investgated with Painless harness performance and they have a complete wire harness to do this(with EGR or without). BUT they have no information!!!!!!! why!!!!

Gabe2000 this is a well-established and simple swap, probably the easiest of the EFI swaps. Go to Painless Performance's website and look up part # 60101, which is the TBI harness. They sell separately the installation instruction booklet, which is very complete. The booklet guides you through the swap. You can order the booklet and then decide if you want to do the install yourself, or let some shop do it.
I have the LS fuel tank installation almost figured out, and I will explain what I found in the near future.
