Time for paint, now what color(s)?

Just bought a 1990 C3500 454 with red interior and a few different colors on the exterior. The original color (guessing based on the color around the inside of the back glass) is charcoal gray, sorry I don't know the color name if someone wants to enlighten me. My question is this, what colors if any were combined with this gray/grey in a two tone from the factory? I want to run the second color along the center belt of the truck. Obviously, with the red interior, red has occured to me as a secondary color, but I would like input. Considering silver, black, red, or even a full color change to an alternate setup. The interior is too nice to change, and there is a hell of alot of it on the crewcabs anyways so the outside must change instead.
If anyone wants to throw in pictures of their two-tone/tutone rides I would appreciate the references. Emphasis on gray/red or gray/black combos but others might spark my interest.

I don't know about the 1990 r/v series trucks, but, in earlier years a shade of blue was a factory option with the grey to set up a tu-tone paint job. Other than that I've seen red and black as you mentioned. not sure on the condition of the interior or the desirability of a color swap on the gut, but, its always an option...

they had a darker red as opposed to a fire engine red that looked nice with the dark or light grey

Thank you for the link to the Heritage site, nearest info I could find for my rig was the 87 Pages. From that, I was able to determine that the Big Dooley scheme is probably how mine started out its life. A little more detective work on the truck revealed some fire engine red peaking through the metallic gray so I am under the impression my rig was upper half gray, lower half red. Does anyone have pics of a stock Big Dooley setup, or even better a stock dually with the center beltline in a two tone setup? The info I read leads me to beleive my particular truck was not prodeced from the factory with my desired paint scheme as an option due to the fact that is has dual rear wheels.

a red interior doesnt leave you a lot of options, red black or grey are about it, i always thought black with a red interior looked bad ass!

I always thought a bright silver with a nice red interior looked good. That's my favorite. Next is red, and then white (for having a red interior).
