rear end lengths
i have a 69cst that im wanting to know the drawbacks(if any)of putting a rear end out of another 67-72(dont know what year)in my truck...my truck rearend meassures 55 1/2 and the one im thinking about putting in it measures 57 1/2 from backing plate to backing plate...will i run into any problems?...thanks billy

Tha 72 rear ends were an inch or two wider, they will mount up with no trouble just make sure you do the math correctly on your back spacing of your wheels. There was a ton of room running stock wheels but it can get real close real quick with your B.S. in the mid 5's
