trans is going. time to upgrade
well boys it seems like my 4l60e is on the way out. i have a 2wd 05 sierra regular cab step side bed with a 5.3 and it seems that after only 73k my trans is callin it a day. thank fully i just got done with the 5 speed swap in my 66 so ill just transfer daily duties over to it.
ive been doin some research on a t56 for my sierra and i would love to have a 6 speed in that truck but im not ready to pull the trigger yet. i do a 380 mile drive to texas once a month to see my kids so i need something thats not to crazy on the high way. but i also love gettin up and haullin the mail. im wonderin what yalls thought are. do i... A. rebuild the 4l60e. B. get a 4l80e and build it C. t56 by the way i have plans to go to either a 4.10 or 4.30 gear soon.
