81-87 steering boxes- metric threads??
Just curious if anyone knows for sure whether an 87 steering box has metric inlet and outlet threads. i have no way here to check internal threads. If they do i assume that other than that-- they will interchange with 73-80 boxes. Also if they do They may have switched earlier than 81? lemmeknow, thanx , Crossy

Pre '80 your lines have flared ends and '80 up has O-ring ends, pump has to match as well.
And yes later model are metric. Last edited by chevy1ton; 02-03-2013 at 07:45 PM. Reason: add on |
