getting new stuff tomorrow!

I'm getting a new to me rear end, ebrake stuff and the panel that goes on the firewall on the inside (Brand new). I saw an ad on CL and found that a member that lives up north of me has all the stuff. He's even going to bring it to my house and drop it off! Now I can get rid of that crazy rear end I have and put in the civilized one. Now if it would warm up and melt the snow in my driveway I can get it done! Thanx Lyle!

Heh! I can see you now with a torch melting snow out of the driveway to get that rear end put in!

Great catch and the delivery makes it even sweeter. Take pix and let us see you do the installation.

Re: getting new stuff tomorrow!

No problem. I was thinking about getting one of those heaters that blows like a jet engine for the driveway. The rear end has a leaky seal so I thought I should take some before during and after pics. I'm also replacing the trailing arm bushings and having the arms powder coated while I have the thing all apart. I'll start a new thread when I get going on it in a month or so depending on the weather.

Lyle and his buddy brought me a couple parts today too. Lyle is definitely a good guy

When you change that rear end, do yourself a favor, and get a set of new U-bolts with nuts and washers. Don't even try and save them just cut them off. It isn't worth the hassle trying to save them.

Yeah I was thinking about that. I'll order some tonight. When I bring the trailing arms in for powder coating I'll stop in and say hi.
