Brake pedal stop.

That's what I'm looking for the stop or bumper near top of pedal arm
that probably is rubber. Well I took my truck apart years ago and bagged
and marked everything right ? ya right.
You guessed it none to be found, plus I don't even remember what it looks like.

Already did that yep....none to be found......
I think I'll just make one out of a bolt and a couple of nuts and lock washers.

Also, might check with LMC or a member with a stick to see if the clutch and brake pedal stops are the same on your 68. They were on my 66, but that's a different era. LMC sells a clutch pedal stop - might be all you need, but I'm not positive. http://www.lmctruck.com/icatalog/CB/full.aspx?Page=44

In my previous truck, I removed both brake pedal and clutch stops and installed adjustable ones so I could set desired pedal height (and then adjust the rest via the adjusting rods in the linkage). Pedals in the 66 were WAY too high, so that's why I did this - only mention as it might be an option if you can't locate what your need - along the same lines of what you mention above. Usually an easy thing to do on brakes, but can quickly run out of pedal travel on a clutch setup, so you should be fine. This thread has the details.

Don't know about 68, by my 70 has 2 identical rubber bumpers for the brake and clutch pedals. They mount to a steel plate that bolts to the bottom of the dash.

Looking closer at the steel plate under dash that aligns with
the brake pedal arm, it has a square hole indicates a place for
a rubber fixed stop.
However an adjustable stop makes sense. That is what I'll do.
