one of those days
I dont mean to rant but I need to vent.
This has been one of those weeks were for every good thing something bad happens. The chevy just turned 72,000 miles I was so happy. So I order some parts to celebrate (dont I know how to have fun). I order a new glove box liner and screw and a cigar outlet from gmc Paul's. Then I found a set of good used coil on ebay with air shocks for $25 buck, I was so happy and here is were things go down hill. I had to change my password for ebay after I bide on the shocks but before I paid and now ebay wont let me pay so I am trying to talk to the seller. I was driving to school today and noticed my temp gauge was pegged so I knew it was time for a new thermostat. Replacing that was easy ( i went with 195') but my buddy's dodge crashed into my grill so now I have to get a new one lucky for me he will pay for a used one

Re: one of those days
Sorry to hear you have had such bad luck. I think all of us have had one of those days, where we would have been better off just staying in bed.
Hopefully you won't have two bad days in a row. Often when I am working on one of my vehicles and things don't go well, I just take a break. At my age a nap helps sometimes.

Yep, sometimes you just have to shake your head and walk away. That is a bummer on the e-Bay thing though. I hope you get it figured out. Well, the grille is a bummer too, those egg crates are getting hard to find in decent condition. LockDoc

Re: one of those days
yeah I should have just stayed in bed lol. I am not to mad about the grill because the outer part was pretty beat up, I can always get another one. I just looked at the prices of a new one their crazy high for a dd truck a used one is just fine. it was funny though not a minute before he was telling me that a 4x4 can do anything better. well now he knows a 4x4 cant stop any better on ice

Re: one of those days
A couple of years ago I bought a really nice used 71-72 grille insert on eBay, and paid good money for it too. The seller wrapped it in brown paper and put it in the mail. Needless to say it arrived in almost 50 separate pieces. The postal service eventually paid for it through postal insurance, though they argued with me because the seller didn't package it correctly.
Good luck! Brian |

Re: one of those days
Check your water temp sender wire for a short to ground, That will cause the gauge to peg.
