Muffler

I know a V6 does not have a lot of power but what's a great muffler to have installed?

Re: Muffler

I gave up on Flowmasters, since they tend to break open after a couple years. I started using Magnaflow mufflers and they sound good to me. They give a good rumble at idle and bark hard under acceleration. A six cylinder will give a definitely different sound than a 8 cylinder.

Look into Gibson my friend has a jeep that's a v6 and his sounds really good has a low rumble and when he drives it's not too loud unless he punches it

Re: Muffler

I run a high flow cat and 14" Magnaflow on my 96 4.3 Jimmy. It sounds great. Nice rumble at idle. Great sound through low speeds. Quiet at 2000 cruise RPMs. Nice sound on hard acceleration. I think you would be happy with a Magnaflow.

Re: Muffler

yeah like gchemist said magnaflow is an awesome brand, I have one on my DD sounds good low rumble when it idles actually semi sounds like a v8 but when I punch it, it screams just make sure you get a larger case muffler just think of it this way small is louder, larger is quieter.
