Automatic Shifter handle - Arm
Hi,
My neighbor brough home his 1957-58 chevy truck from Calif. but someone either stole or parted out the shift indicator off the column. Is there an after market one he might use? The column is a stock. Forgive the ignorance on this model ( i'm use to the 60-66 stuff. Jake

Re: Automatic Shifter handle - Arm
I know Truck Shop, and LMC truck have "deluxe" trim indicators, that replace the stock ones. I don't see any difference in them, but they should act as a viable replacement part.

Re: Automatic Shifter handle - Arm
Can someone tell us if the auto shift handle and shaft is different than the standard 3 speed? I would suspect they are the same with difference being in the indicator and the column bottom detent mechanism. If that is the case, someone ditching the stock column and shifter for a new setup could help.

Re: Automatic Shifter handle - Arm
I'm not sure what interchanges but a later one might fit.
