67 5 LUG conversion kit ?

Looking at converting my 67 over to 5 lug so I can start ordering my brakes and wheels but just not sure what i need exactly. I dont want to end up with extra parts.. Thanks !!

As far as parts, you need a set of five lug conversion axles, axle seals, and a differential cover gasket. Swapping them out is pretty straight forward and not very difficult.

check out my build thread. My 12 year old son and I swapped out our 68 rear axels.. pretty simple swap.

Going with Wilwood brakes all around. The truck is static lowered now 3/5. Will be lowering it more. Still not sure if I'm going to lay frame or not.

From what I understand, most disc brake drop spindles push the wheel out. CPP says 1/8" but some other drop spindles move the wheels as much as 3/4" outward. CPP makes a "modular" spindle that actually keeps the wheel tucked in or further in than stock. Just something to think about so you make sure your wheels dont rub on the fenders.

you can have your axles redrilled for dirt cheap ! hudlow axle in tennessee does them for 150 for both and their number is 423 362 3006

Not to hijack this but I have a similiar question, I plan on converting rear to 5 on 5 however plan on keeping the drums in the rear. What drums would I need to purchase and would I also need to change the backing plates?
