Adding AC to the Blazer
So I have been searching the forums for the best way to add AC to my Blazer.
I think I have narrowed the choices down to VIntage Air vs Classic Auto Air but all of the comparisons seem at least 4 years old. I'm not worried about cost as I am about a system that can heat in the winter (Temp in the 20s) and cool in the summer (Temp 90s). So the poll/question goes out again. Which AC system do you guys recommend.

I just ordered my kit from Vintage air today. I worked with Roy with Vintage air at extension 108, he sent me a build sheet to fill out and parted out the kit right for me. Had to make some changes since I installed a serpentine system. Whole kit with shipping and upgrades 1606.44, without upgrades 1395 plus shipping.

I have a complete factory a/c kit from my blazer with a newer comp and brakets for a sb they im going to be selling if you are interested i would take 600 for it plus shipping.... Its complete from condensor to the dash panel and the firewall cover has just been painted up with rustshield so it looks great to.

I run Classic Auto Air in mine. Installed without a hitch and works like a champ.

Cables with the adapter for the factory AC controls. The controls don't work the same as stock, only 2 of the three levers actuate, one doesn't do anything. One is for the flapper to go from dash, to defrost/floor. The other opens and closes the heater hose valve. Works well.
