Torque specs needed....
My rear axle is falling out. (not good)
I have new U-bolts on the way...wht should they be torqued to? Anyone know? This is on the 1/2 ton 2 wheel drive. |

I like to use the 1/2" impact gun method. At least that's what I did with my old 67. It survived a roll over. . . .

just run em up with a good 1/2 inch impact gun and they wont go anywhere little dab of locktite probably wouldnt hurt either

I was gonna do that if no one can cough up numbers. My snap on impact oughta do it...esp since we run the compressor at about 125 psi.

145 ft/lbs is the proper torque
