Interesting B&W Highlander - eBay

...at least it was interesting to me. #1 it's black and white. #2 it does NOT have the bat/temp/oil gauges but has air, tilt, etc.... Should the gauges be there as part of a package or was that separate? Enjoy...

The gauges were not part of the Highlander trim package nor the Highlander Promo packages. This truck has the "C" promo package which added on this truck the plaid trim and carpet to a Custom Deluxe interior (Highlander trim), Special Wheelcovers C10 (PA1), Chrome Front Bumper, Upper (Belt) Molding, Door Edge Guards, Below Eye-Line Mirrors, Turbo. Hydramatic Trans., Power Steering, Tilt, A/C and Tint.

For what it is worth the fabric is incorrect and not even close to the original appearance.

Highlander Plaid was a trim only option based on Z62 or Z84 (Blazer only) optioned vehicle. In addition promo packages A,B and C were offered that bundled several options in addition to the Plaid trim. Thus a promo package truck was a Highlander but a Highlander was NOT ALWAYS a promo package equipped truck.

Highlander trim codes
All include black dash pad, steering column (with or without tilt) and carpet. In addition the door panels, visors, console (Blazer only) and seat belts were parchment (white). Seat vinyl was also parchment and the insert color is determined by the specific code. So the only variable color keyed component was the insert color of the seatcovers.

They are out there, late last month skrenly was looking at buying a 72 Black and White Cheyenne Super C10. Don't know what happened since he killed/deleted the thread while I was elaborating a point on his question.

Seeing those up close pix it does not look like it has a super nice paint job on it, looks like it has alot of orange peel in the paint.
