tranny help

I have a 85 k10 with a 350/350 combo it came with a 305/700r4. I would like to go back to a 700r4. can I use my transfercase also which vehicles are the best donors for the trans

Yes you can use the same trasfer case. We did the same swap on a buddy's truck. The PO had installed a spacer that made up the difference for the TH350's shortness compared to the 700r4. These spacers are worth $$$ on Ebay. If you have the spacer installed you won't need to change length of driveshafts or anything. You should have the bolt holes for the crossmember as well in there. Best donors would be 88-92 model trucks, and cars.
