Cutting bumpstops out?

I am putting a drop kit on my 85 C10. It will be a 4/6 drop. I am in the process of a rebuild and have the front clip off and will soon have the bed off. I assume that I need to take the bump stops out and the brackets too now, right? I think the rear brackets are riveted in but not sure how the fronts are attached. My drop kit will be here soon and just wanted to make sure that I was supposed to go ahead and remove the stops and brackets.

Re: Cutting bumpstops out?

Any suggestions? As far as the front stops do I take the ones out off the lower control arm and also the ones that are underneath the upper control are as well.

Re: Cutting bumpstops out?

You can remove the front lower a-arm bumpstops and the rear frame bracket.
