That Kid's Build
calling this project "Crunch Time" as it's one of my biggest priorities to have this thing done asap.
EDIT Noticed the pictures are enormous mods is there anyway i can fix this? To start off I've had this truck since last august but just now have the space an time to get it done. Since we don't have a shop that doesn't have something in it in the beginning of January my dad was kind enough to buy my grandpa's old bodyshop and since then we've been rennovating it. Just last Saturday i got the truck in and most of the parts and got to work on the spindles. I've learned alot from the forum already and hopefully I'll have more to contribute when its all done. Anyway heres some photos of the shop, still in progress; and the truck. The shop Lines for Le Toilete And the truck: 1970 CST C10 SWB W/ ECE 4/6 Some work from tonight on the spindles still have to do one more coat and the tie rods Plans for the truck are Fast-Burn 350/ T56 or TH400 20x8.5 and 20x10 Black Boss 338s A very loud audio system and much more. also undecided on paint These are a few of the colors I'm into right now 1. Satin Black 2. Black/ White two tone, courtesy of big al 3. Blue/ White two tone, more period correct. youtube vid 4. Red/ White two tone Sorry for the long post but I'm full throttle on this right now some opinions would be appreciated. And one question to run my 4/6 would I need a notch in the frame like this one from cpp?

Re: That Kid's Build
Great looking project, I like the white/blue/white/blue. Like the red and white one but blue where the red is if that makes any sense. That is a great shop you have there, I wish I had a shop like that to work in! I will be watching.
I usually resize my pics to 640x480, but yours looks fine on my screen. PS- Can I borrow some tools, and maybe a chain and a jack??

Re: That Kid's Build
Yea i'm really partial to the blue and i'm pretty sure it will be in my paint no matter what scheme i have. My grandpa wrote that on the wall after someone was late with returning some tools, and more specifically with the end part my uncle with a jack and chains for his weekend warrior I still find it funny though.

Re: That Kid's Build
Ahh..... I remember when my shop was that clean and room was plentiful!
My opinion on color is also the blue/white two tone. You have a nice truck to start with and a good area to work in, I look forward to seeing the rest of your build.
