well I have a pretty built 406 with a custom ground solid lifter cam the engine is built for higher rpms. The rev limiter is set at 6500 and thats being safe with it. I wasnt really looking but if I had to guess it was around 5500-6000 I was spining pretty bad.

haha yea. Ive always drove and beat on this truck, took it to the track a few times and drove it to the rod run doing 85 the whole way down and back... but after it gets painted and all the rock chips and dings are gone I think Im gonna be a little easier on it. its had a hard 6 years since its been done I think its finally time to just cruise it. for a little bit anyway lol

Yeah, that won't last long. I once said the same thing, and I got over it pretty quick.
